Leaving some Crafters Companion love behind again today...

Hi...it's CC love x's 3 today so scroll to the end of the post.
...1st up 'Happy 60 years' step card...

This card is made by using the CREATE-A-CARD Stairway Card die.
Follow the instructions in the booklet that comes with the die set. As easy as that. I extended the front and back enough to cover the extra for the card-stock embossing. Using the A4 yardstick make the stair placement at 14.5cm. When you see the booklet instructions you will understand.

A birds eye view of the embossing and silver gilding wax. The die cut lace is adhered with 3d dots to the centre card front over the embossed layer.

Arrange the flowers and leaves in a cluster. Adhere with the hot glue gun.
Die cut the letters for the word HAPPY.
Apply the silver gilding wax to the letters the adhere to the card front with the hot glue gun.

The flowers are made from lose purple paper flower mix...I think Prima marketing...
(my faithful flower stash is so old and not in its packaging anymore.)
All the flower layers are adhered together with silver stamens in the centre using the hot glue gun.
When the flower cluster is fixed to the card front, apply a little silver gilding wax to the petals to bring the colours in balance.

Die cut the letters, apply the silver gilding wax then adhere each letter to a step in the stair on the card.
Do the same with the numbers...don't you just love them! All old and grungy looking.

See how that embossing and gilding makes the card pop.
It has become quite addictive. Wait till you see it using more than one colour on a project....to die for.

Sorry the leaves are from an old loved stash...Prima marketing..I have been saving these for years...just for this card!
But I do want to make some my self as I have only a few left in the stash.

The right side of the card. Can you see the layering of the letters.
These are layers x4 to make a chippy

...Last #3...
 Romantic Scandinavian Banner

All tied together with a organza ribbon.

Make 3 frames for the banner.
Die cut both frames, apply the copper gliding wax to the card-stock frames, leaving the centre of the smallest white.  Taking the pink foam sheet and the heart die, die cut the hearts. Adhere the hearts to the frames with the 3d foam dots. Taking the pink and the green foam, cut the flowers and the snow flake as leaves. Heat the foam, it will curl, then shape it into the flower. Trim the snow flake to make the leaves. Adhere to the heart. To finish add the stickles to the doves.

Tie all the frames together with bows.

Showing the die used for the heart...fantastic for using with fabric and felt!
