Other Products Used:
Ranger: Stardust stickles, Water Mister, Inking tool, Water coloring brush, Paper distressing tool, Scissors. Distress Inks: Gathered twigs, Forest moss, Peeled paint, Victorian. Other: Green cardstock, Aquarelle paper (170gm), Archival black ink, Fussy Cutting Scissors, Double sided Tape, Beige wired ribbon, Cardboard, Hot glue gun. Pencil
Instructions:
The finished size of this Lay Out is 12” x 12” ( 30cm x 30 cm ) The photo measures 5 1/4” x 3 ”

Start by preparing all the embellishments needed for this LO. Stamp, die cut, color and shape if needed the following. 6 x flowering branches, 9 x dogwood flowers, 12 x large leaves plus an extra 6 for the lower edge. Find the pink colored design paper from the collection. Cut this in half and then ink the edges with the Victorian velvet ink. Taking the paper-distressing tool, distress all the edges.  Taking the green card stock cut two 3” strips. Distress the edges of these papers too. Use one of the strips to place behind the join and the other at the base of the LO. Apply water spray to the edges to be curled and curl up by rolling with the pencil. Taking the cardboard, trim this so it is a little smaller than the photo. Add enough so when placed, the photo will sit snug above the paper join. Adhere in place.

Make a large bow so it will fit almost across the page. Adhere 3 of the dogwood flowering branches in a row about 1” under the photo. Adhere the bow using the hot glue gun. Trim the remaining flowering branches so you can fill the gaps in the flowers fall. These are adhered only at the ends, by lifting the bow a little and tuck the ends under so you adhere so they will not seen. Adhere with the hot glue gun flowers and leaves over the knot of the bow. First the flowers then add the leaves as fillers.

Showing you close ups of both sides of the photo for the flower placements.

Do the same for each side of the photo and paper join.

Tuck the leaves under the paper roll at the base of the LO. Add a few dogwood flower sprigs. To finish the LO add a spot of stickles to each dogwood flower petal tips and the draping flower centers.

This is such a pretty release. Love these Dogwood flowers and leaves...next week I will be using more yum from this collection. A naughty sneaky peak for you...

This card measures 15 cm x 15 cm when completed. Taking the cream cardstock cut this to 15 cm x 30 cm and fold in half to form the card base. From the design paper cut two matting papers. One 14.5 cm x 14.5 cm and the other 13.5 cm x 13.5 cm. Ink the edges with the distress inks. Adhere to the card base with double-sided 3d foam tape. Die cut the sentiments from white card stock using the spellbinder dies. Adhere the sentiment words to the foot of the card. Stamp, color and die cut the fences, gate, flowers and leaf swirls. Shape these with the flower shaping tool kit. Begin the arrangement by first adhering the fences and gate with the double sided foam tape across the center of the card. Arrange the leaf swirls and flowers as seen in the card photo. Apply the star dust stickles to the sentiment words, orange peel stickles to the flower centers and platinum stickles to the nails and hinges on the fence and gate.

A few close ups.

Although this is 3d, it was not to time consuming and difficult to make. A matter of preparing the flowers and leaves, the gate and fence...then adhering to the card base. A real winner as you can use this for most occasions, all you need to do is change the sentiment.
See you next week....a real treat in store! HERE
I kn ow you all ready know...but take a look anyway....spoil yourself.
